Board of Directors
John H. Bauer Mr. Bauer serves as Caliber's Chairman and was formerly Chief Financial Officer for Nintendo of America Inc. from 1994 to 2004. While at Nintendo of America Inc., he had direct responsibility for all administrative and finance functions. Since 2004, he has served as a consultant to Nintendo of America Inc. In addition, he serves as an Executive Advisor and Chief Financial Officer at DigiPen Institute of Technology. Mr. Bauer is a member of the Board of Directors of Zones, Inc. and is Chairman of the Zones, Inc. audit committee. He is also on the Board of Directors of RIPL Corporation. From 1963 to 1994 he worked for Coopers & Lybrand, including serving as the business assurance (audit) practice Partner. He was also a member of Coopers & Lybrand"s Firm Council, the senior policy making and governing board for the firm.
William Keiper
William Keiper is currently a member of the Boards of Directors of Smith Micro Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: SMSI), a developer of innovative communications software for the cellular wireless industry; and Zones Inc. (NASDAQ: ZONS), a single-source, multi-vendor direct marketing reseller (DMR) of name-brand information technology products. He has served on the Boards of Directors of six U.S. public companies, and has many years of experience as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board in a number of public companies. He has extensive experience as a senior executive in electronic payments, software and hardware development, distribution and IT services company management.
Will previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Hypercom Corporation (NYSE: HYC). Hypercom is in the business of developing and delivering highly secure electronic card payment terminals and software, network access devices, and server and transaction networking solutions, to enable the rapid handling of payment and other transactions. Hypercom is a global company, with offices on every continent, delivering products and services in over 100 countries. Its products were involved in the handling of over 35 billion secure payment transactions in 2007.
Will’s education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Business (finance major) from Eastern Illinois University; a law degree from Arizona State University; and a Master’s degree from the Thunderbird American Graduate School of International Management. He was Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arizona Technology Association, and was a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board, College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Arizona State University. He was also nominated for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.
He previously served on the Boards of Artisoft Inc. (NASDAQ: ASFT), a leader in next-generation IP-based voice and data and digital communications systems for business; Hypercom Corporation (NYSE: HYC), in the business of developing and delivering highly secure electronic card payment terminals and software, network access devices, server and transaction networking solutions, to enable the rapid handling of payment and other transactions; JDA Software Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: JDAS), a developer of software solutions that deliver demand and supply chain results to the world’s leading retailers, manufacturers and suppliers; and Radyne Corporation (NASDAQ: RADN), which designs, manufactures, sells and integrates products, systems and software used for the transmission and reception of voice, data and video over satellite, troposcatter, microwave and cable communication networks.
Kenneth Kirkpatrick A 37-year veteran at U.S. Bank, Ken has served as the Washington State President for U.S. Bank since January, 2002. Ken is also the Board Chair of the U.S. Bank Washington State Advisory Board of Directors.
Ken is actively involved in the community. He is a board member of Junior Achievement of Washington, having previously served as Board Chair. Ken has led the Trade Development Alliance of Greater Seattle Business and Trade Mission to the UK, Netherlands and Brussels in 2002, Japan in 2004, India in 2006 and Southeast Asia in 2007. He led the Trade Mission to China in the Fall of 2008. Ken was Chairman of the Pacific Coast Banking School Board (2006-2008), which is the premier graduate school of banking in the U.S. and he serves on the Board of the University of Washington Business School. Ken has served as Chair of the Arts Fund Board which is the central vehicle for supporting over 70 nonprofit arts organizations in the Northwest. Ken co-chaired with the Seattle Mayor the Seattle Sister Cities Celebration in 2007.
Ken is lead Director of the Board of Zones, Inc. (ZONS), a publicly held company which is a single source direct market reseller of name brand IT products.
Beginning January 1 2003, Ken was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank, San Francisco, Seattle Branch. He is currently serving a second 3 year term.
Ken and his wife SaSa chaired the Festival of the Fountains fundraising event benefiting the Pacific Science Center in 2004 and they chaired the Ronald McDonald House Annual Gala in October, 2005. His wife, SaSa co-chaired the Fifth Avenue Theatre Gala in 2008 and are currently co-chairing a $13 million capital campaign for Northwest Harvest, the primary food bank for the State of Washington.
Ken holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Washington and has completed programs at Kellogg Executive Program at Northwestern University and the Pacific Coast Banking School. |
